Tator Tot Casserole

Ingredients

• 1 pkg Tator Tots
• 1 lb Ground Beef (hamburger)
• 1/2 Onion (diced)
• 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
• Milk
• Cheddar Cheese

Method

1. Start cooking the frozen tator tots as you brown the ground beef & diced onion for a faster cooking time later.
2. Drain the hamburger and add the cream of mushroom soup. If the mixture is too thick, add 1-2 Tbsp of milk to loosen it up.
3. Spray an 8x8 baking dish, place the hamburger mixture on the bottom.
4. Take the tator tots and lay on top of the hamburger mixture.
5. Cover with cheese.
6. Cover the dish and put in the oven for 15 min on 400 (if the tots were cooked a bit ahead of time - if not, it will take closer to 30+ min).
7. Some leave out a few frozen tator tots and mix them in with the hamburger/soup mixture and layer the rest of the tots on top. Works both ways.
